First besides the settings adjustment made to allow the video to be increased from the 480i you need to be connected to a 1080 P HDTV with an HDMI cable. If the PS3 is not connected to a HDTV with the capability to show Blu-ray discs the PS3 will show the discs in a lower resolution. It will also do so if the PS3s settings menu has not set the video to match the HDTV capability. There are also internet features involved in some Blu ray discs and you need to have the PS3 connected to the internet
Stick a peanut butter and jelly sandwich in the bluray drive
If you already have a Netflix account, you just need to enter your account information on the BluRay player's Netflix menu. If you don't have an account already, you will need to set one up on your computer so that you can get the account information that the BluRay player needs.
To set up a sixaxis controller on your PS3 for the first time, plug it in with the charge cable. Then press the PS button and wait until the controller connects. Your controller will now be set up to work with your PS3.
