wilhelmina Modeling Agency
There are no universities or colleges for modeling, nor is a degree program you can sign up for. You don't need a degree or diploma to become a model. There are modeling schools and training academies, however.
I'm sorry, but there are many typos in your question so I am not entirely sure of what you are asking but I'm guessing it is "How do you sign up to be allowed to model?" If so, here is your answer: By submitting your pictures and information to legit modeling agencies in your area or by freelancing and acting as your own agent and finding your own modeling jobs. If an agency is interested in you, then they will offer you a modeling contract and begin searching for modeling gigs for you. Agencies have to interested in you and only they can offer you a contract to sign...it isn't the type of arrangement where you get to choose who you want to sign with.
find a good agency that you can trust and is not a scam and just sign him/her up
No. Simply sign with a modeling agency and they will train you and start finding you work.
You don't "sign up" to be a runway model. You have to submit your photos, measurements and other info to modeling agencies. If they like your look and your other info meets their requirements then they'll offer you a modeling contract to represent you.
John Robert Powers is not a modeling agency, they are a modeling school. After you audition for them, they will give you feedback and ask you to sign up for modeling and/or acting classes, which usually ranges from hundreds to thousands of dollars.
Yes child modeling agencies are legal in the US. Many, although legal, are not legitimate. One way in knowing this is if they ask for all types of fees up front. If they do this, its a sign they may be trying to rip you off. http://ourcutebabies.com/articles/baby-modeling/modeling-upfront-fees.html
It depends on the type of modeling you want to do and what kinds of classes you want to sign up for. Some modeling programs are a few weeks long while others may be a few months long. However, they offer very flexible schedules and programs.
