Are you not using the key? The anti theft should eb active anytime the car is off. The keyless entry systems in thee mustang is only that, a keyless entry system that unlocks doors and trunks. The Key for your mustang has a tiny transmitter that only your car recognizes. If you were to cut a non-transponder key to fit your car, you could unlock the doors but not start it. You need to have a transponder key for your car. Your dealer can make one for you, but this is expensive. If you have the other two original keys from the car, it is possible to program another key, but only with two original keys. If you do not have this, go to your local Ford dealer and bring your checkbook.... call a locksmith, most of the time they are cheaper than ford for PATS keys because they use aftermarket Keys and they have a PATS interrigator to find correct Code but Ford Can look your code up by Vin Number most of the time.
