Keeping ample amounts of feces on your finger to cause immediate sickening feeling. Even getting your fingrs close to your mouth! although if you chewed nail stop you may well be cappable of eating well you know. I Hope I was Helpful

How would I stop my little brother from biting his nails with-out no-bite?

Im 14 and have almost stopped biting my nails. To make them taste bad you dip them in soapy water and let them air dry (not sure if it works as I havent tried it before) Give him something to play with like silly putty, a little ball or even a coin. What I found worked best for me is wearing a rubber band around my wrist and every time I bit my nails I snapped the rubber band enough to make it really hurt and eventually when I learned that if I bite my nails it would be sore i stopped. The best thing to do though is BE DETERMINED!

Can you put shampoo or conditioner on your nails to stop biting them?

Well, you can, but that would be a bad idea since you may be poisoned by the chemicals. Or worse, you may develop complications such as yellow nails or even fungal infection.

Do you bite your fingernails?

Fingernail biting is a nervous habit, some people have been biting their nails since childhood, and continue to bit their nails through adulthood. You also bite your nails because of stress, anxiousness, nervousness, boredom, and fear. Most people don't even realize when they do it. You can break the habit by continuous appliance of lotion and nail polish. Very hard to keep up the habit but eventually you'll break it. Good luck!

What are the effects of nail varnish remover on the natural nail?

Can make the nail brittle and chalky looking. I don't personally recommend doing it unless you are gonna use a clear coat afterwards. Even then your nails will look funny.

How do I break my nail biting habit?

AnswerI've used a product called Stop the Bite -Hard as Hoof. It is clear on your nails and tastes terrible, so you don't want in your mouth. It takes about three weeks --but you break the habit.AnswerI had tried the nail bitter stuff, and it didn't work for me at first - what worked was weekly manicures (even with almost no nail) and once I got out of the habit of biting (I actually craved the taste of it...) then I was able to use the bad tasting stuff to remind myself not to bite.Best of luck, it is a hard habit to break, but once it's broken you'll feel proud of the way your nails look!! :)Every time you notice your fingers are in your mouth, imagine you just cleaned up a pile of dog poop. Eventually you will notice before you bite your nails....thats how I quit biting mine:)

Is nail biting a result of a vitamin deficiency?

No, nail biting is a nervous habit. Example; someone who bites their nails my have anxiety, nervousness about something. If you take notice when you seem to bite your nails the most, then you can make changes as needed. Maybe when you listen to the news on the radio or TV it makes you uptight and sometimes even angry. Try not watching it as much. This really works. It is not a vitamin deficiency but just a bad habit like, biting ones lip, chewing on the inside on your mouth, taping your finger on the table, there are so many habits that humans create for themselves.

How do you strenthen nails?

Vitamin E will help make nails stronger and help them to grow. Also, the addition of gelatin to your diet will help. It can be obtained by eating a serving or two of gelatin dessert each day, or buying plain gelatin [available at most grocery stores and supermarkets] and following the directions for mixing in a glass of water.
