How do you hook up the heater hose on a 1972 Chevy 350?

One goes from the heater core to the water pump, the other goes from the heater core to the intake manifold.

What is leaking on top of your 1993 silverado under neath disturber cap?

There is a heater hose that goes in the left rear back side of the intake manifold that hooks to a quick disconnect fitting, It is common for the fitting to leak antifreeze. If it is oil that is leaking, then there is a oil sending unit to the right of the distributor that could be leaking oil. There is a long rubber gasket that seals the back of the intake manifold to keep it from leaking oil also. That's all that could be leaking back there. GOOD LUCK.

What if your 1992 Chevy silverado is leaking engine coolant from the top of the engine just below the distrubutor what is leaking?

There is a heater hose that goes to the left rear top side of the intake manifold and that fitting leaks engine coolant sometimes and it will run down the back of the intake around the distributor. If that fitting is not leaking then the intake manifold gasket is leaking coolant in the corners of it. REplace the intake gasket. That's all that can leak coolant on that year engine. If coolant is leaking out between the transmission and engine block then you have a freeze plug leaking in the back of the engine, between the transmission and block. Must remove the transmission and flywheel to fix it.

Where could engine coolant be leaking from on rear topside of engine on a 1998 350vortec it pours coolant out but can't see where from?

It is common for the intake manifold gasket to leak antifreeze from the corners of the intake. Need to replace intake gasket. Be sure to look closely at the intake were the gasket seals against it for pitts in the intake. There is a heater hose that goes into the intake on right rear corner in the back, but uo on top of intake. check closely. 1987 samurai coolant hose below intake manifold is pluged but leaking where did this go originally?

It is a small 'L' shaped hose that goes from the side if the water manifold to the bottom of the carburetor intake manifold. I believe it is part of the water supply to the carburetor manifold that heats it.

Where is the hose that goes to the heater core of a 93 Pontiac Grand Am?

What goes wrong with 2007 dodge charger When your short runner valve go bad?

What is the most likely cause of coolant leaking from the rear of the engine in a 2000 blazer?

You need to climb up and lean over the engine and run your fingers around the back 2 corners of the intake manifold and see if you get antifreeze on them. They are none for the intake gaskets to leak engine coolant. It is a common problem with the vortec engines. There are also 2 freeze plugs in the back of the engine where the fly-wheel is bolted to the engine that could be leaking engine coolant. There is also a heater core hose that goes into the rear left corner of the intake that could be leaking. The hose fits into a quick disconnect fitting that screews into the intake. It is common for the fitting to leak too,

How can you tell a Chevy 350 engine from a Pontiac 350 engine?

On a small block Chevy the distributor goes through a hole in the intake manifold. On a Pontiac the distributor goes behind the intake manifold.

If a 1992 Chevy S10 4.3L feels rough when idling what could it be?

if it is a vortec, there is a fuel line under the upper intake that goes from the manifold to the injector. check it for cracks and leaking or the injector itself. EGR Valve

Where is the air intake sensor?

How do the heater core hoses on 96 Plymouth breeze get routed?

firewall to the right side of the motor (facing motor) around the front and one goes to the thermostat housing and the other goes down behind the intake manifold to the lower hose. They are not directional.
