How do you stop the speedometer indicator from sticking on a 2002 CRV?

I have the same problem - last yr it came on during vacation in hot weather and a lot of stuff in and around the seats. It came off at the Honda dealer parking lot in October (at least that's what they told me). It came on again this vacation - I'm waiting for the cool weather to set in again. I have taken out all of the stuff from behind the driver's and passenger's seat hoping this will have some effect. Good Luck.
