How do you swap a gsr motor into a 1990 acura integra i know its a direct bolt on other than the throttle cable and the wiring harness what do i exactly have to modify?

I just did this swap. If you are using the hydro tranny you need a mountkit from hasport model DA1HY. I bought my wiring from rywire. Problems I ran into were as follows:
-Needed to extend exhaust and have an O2 bung added to the pipe
-Had to switch over the drivers side motor mount bracket (under timing cover) from the old LS motor
-Figure out vacuum lines to use old map sensor and evap sensor since the chassis has those two plugs built onto it on the 1990
-On drivers side Either use old half shaft and old axel or gsr half shaft and gsr axel
-throttle cable as you stated
-hood will not go down without modification

Direct swop with NO modiflying NO. The 88 engine is a TBI / throttle body fuel injection engine and the fuel pump and wiring harness plus the computer will not operate the 96 engine. Compleat DIFFERENT design. Now if you have the smarts you can make it all work. There would be alot you would have to change including the transmission if it is a automatic.
