You can either remove the fuel tank or you can take the bed loose and raise it up to get to the top of the tank.
Take off the gas cap Find the schraeder valve on the fuel rail, looks like the valve in a tire and relieve some pressure from there. Remove the fuel pump relay, start the engine and let it run until it dies.
you remove drive shaft, exhaust, take the fuel tank down, change bad pump (you have 2) and then calibrate ECM since fuel pressure will differ...

It is mounted on the top of the fuel tank. Just remove it.
Inside the tank, take off the fuel shutoff valve.
cvheck the fuel pump.if that dont fix it check to see you have spark by touching the spark plug wire to the block if it has spark then that ain't it. otherwise take it to thne dealership and have them put in on a diaognosdtic machine if it has the check engine light on
