remove the screws in the handle, they may be under a plastic cover. There is also a screw under the rear reflector. You have to gently pry on one end of switch bezel to unhook it. There are more screws under it. after you remove all the screws use a fork tool or maybe a flat screwdriver to pry off panel.MAKE SURE YOU CHECK FOR missed fasteners. After you get the panel off you should tape the window to hold it up remove 2 10 mm bolts in window bottom. You will find 6 (I THINK) rivets you must drill or chisel them off (punch out the center first its easier )lay the regulator on the floor and replace the motor. Use bolts to replace the rivets if You dont have some. Good Luck. P.S. a body shop will probably do this cheaper than a dealer!
You'll have to take the seat mechanism apart to determine what the cause is then repair or replace parts as needed.
Try Gm And if you tear it apart and get them "Matched up" at a bearing supplier. There are also several on line stores dedicated to the Buick supercharged engine's.
take the door apart remove all old parts and replace its just that easy
If you're sure it's the switch, you'll have to replace the whole switch module. Some people have had limited success by taking it apart and cleaning it. However, the majority of window problems on the Buick are actually bad window regulators. Here's a link that shows how to replace one. http://free-auto-repair-advice.blogspot.com/2007/10/replace-power-window-motor-regulator.html
There are two hidden screws in each of the air vents. After these are removed there are more obvious ones under the dash that need to be removed as well. Hope you find all of them.
I would try the window switch first , but if you are going to replace the switch then you will see how to replace the motor. You would have to take the door panel apart after that its easy.
I just replaced my elec. window regulator last night,$35.00 at the junkyard. It wasn't much fun, just be careful when you take the door apart to remember where everything goes back.It took me a couple hours, but easier to replace it than to figure it out, and I'm an old granny! good luck!!
Take the door apart and disconnect the seized motor from linkage and tape up window and replace motor.
knock out the rollpin located inside on bottom of latch then it just falls apart..
If you cannot just refasten weatherstripping to fix it, the easiest way is to replace it. Apart from that, when replacing weatherstripping on a window, it is good to replace all of the material, not only the damaged part. If you cannot repair it yourself, it is always possible to take the car to the mechanic.
They are about a mile apart. Grand Central Station is on East 42nd Street and Lexington Avenue, and the heart of Times Square is West 42nd Street and 7th Avenue. They are 5 avenue blocks apart. Normally, 3 to 4 avenue blocks equals a mile, but at 42nd Street, the distance between one of the blocks (Park Avenue to Lexington Avenue) is abnormally short.
two inches apart
