take off the wheel pop out the dust cap with a flat head and than loosen the nut its a 30 mm... I'd like to add.... depends on what you want to do... if your changing the brakes... there are four bolts at the back of the plate that you can remove... this will make it easier... don't have to worry about damaging the bearing... if you want to replace the bearing, then yes, use the 30mm and take the bolt off...
