There is 3 long wire that you need to unhook. 1 is behind the glovebox. Unhook the glovebox and you can clearly see the wire. 2 is on the right of the gas pedal. After all 3 is unhooked, you can pry out the cover and disconnect the A/C and clock wire. The stereo will be revealed and unscrew the 4 screws that holds the stereo in place. Then unhook the back of the stereo.
this depends on the year, that will determine the type of ignition and the conection.

Hi, My hubby and I own a 99 Hyundai accent which develoved a leak with the water pooling in the back seat and on the floor in the back. The problem was an air vent in the trunk/hatch area behind the carpet on the side panel just behind the wheel well. We peeled back the carpet and sealed over the vent, (there is one on both sides). The Hyundai dealership said these vents are there to allow air to escape when closing the door so a to not create an negetave pressure making it hard to close the door. We also had another leak in the hatch that was the rubber seal around the hatch that had buckled a bit and was allowing water to run up and over the metal lip under the rubber. We put some sealer under the buckled area and that took care of it. Hope this helpes.
