You can take them off at home.
take the wheels off, unbolt the brake calipers and the pull them off and now you can just pull the rotors off.
Take off the tire, remove the brake caliper, and pull off the rotor.
remove the negative cable from the battery for 10 min. reconnect it.. if its not gone take it to a mechanic
Below the black handle is a silver ring, you need to loosen that all the way and then twist of knob handle.
i have a 2005 Chevy Aveo. I've had it since 2007 and it has been a great car and continues to be a great car. I drive a lot and have put over 100,000 miles on it. Just like any car you have to take care of it. Aveos are pretty cheap cars. and mine has been kicking along with no problems so far. she handles good too not a lot of power when the airs on but a lead foot is good for that :) HAPPY owner of my AVEO
Dex-cool.
I had to take mine to the local Chevy dealer to get the code to reset the radio after the battery was changed. I was charged $40 by them to do this.
Begin by removing the tire and wheel from your 2004 Chevy Colorado. Remove the brake assembly. Loosen the brake rotor with a hammer or mallet. Slide the brake rotor off.
Take wheel off, remove brakes/caliper, remove dust cap, remove cotter pin, remove nut/washers and its off
take off calipers and pull the rotors off the hub
