There is not a govenor on any dirtbikes unless some one put it on after they bought it otherwise Honda, Kawisaki, Yamaha etc. do not put govenors on there dirtbikes
you can jet it by buying better floats or you can take the govenor off . clean out the oil filter!
yes
you can be any ages and you cant take it on the road because they are off road bike
vice versa
flip your killswitch
I have the same dirt bike and what you have to do is go to the carberator and twist a screw on the side of it to where it is all the way in and that pretty much makes the governor disabled . I have done this with my dirt bike and it added about 20 mph, it will not hurt the dirt bike in any way just take off the bulshtii governor that maeks it go slow as hell, i race against 125's and i still keep up now . good luck everybody ride hard another thing you could do is buy a rev box to give your bike more rpms but the only problem with taking off the govenor is that the govener is there so you don't blow up your bike cause without the govener your bike will go just as fast as you throttle it so you can blow it up
There is not a timer on the dirt bike itself, you have to take it to a retailer and have them plug a machine into the computer of the dirt bike, it will display how many hours (off brands such as baja generally dont have the computer capability to read out how many hours are on the bike) for a street bike, you have to apply generally the same process
For riding off road not on the road
Take the transmission pan off>take filter out>govenor sensor housing in this area
A street legal dirt bike is any dirt bike that has a four stroke motor, head lights, brake lights, turning signals, a spark arrestor in the silencer, and street legal on-off road tires.
Not legally. Dirt bikes are made for off road use.
The turn off key located below the front fender is used to cut off the power running from the stator to the bike, so when you pull it out the bike will not run. you can take the key out so no one can start it.
