Pull the two ends apart , and the ball pops out .
That's how mine is , haha . & it might hurt to pull them .
But that's what your supposed to do .
Some of them are like that^^ my CBR was one where you place your pointer finger and thumb between the ball and hoop and press your thumb hard in the other direction and the ball pops out.
Answer 1: I assume you mean you have a CBR (captive bead ring; you can Google it). The ball is not screwed on or anything; it just has two dents in it, one on each side, and is being pinched by the metal. So pull the metal apart until the ball falls out (be careful not to lose it) and then rotate the ring and remove it. If you really are that unsure of what you're doing though, you should probably go back to your piercer to have him/her help you change it. It's really bad if you're at home and you get it out but you can't get the new jewelry in, or if you're having all sorts of problems and agitating the piercing.
It just pulls off. There are 2 indentations on either side of the ball that the ends of the hoop fit into.
Take it off slowly If not get lost
If you are unable to get the ball off using your fingers, you will have to use pliers to get the ball off. It is best to have someone else use the pliers and not try to do it by yourself.
Most lip rings are in the shape of a hoop and have a ball as a closure. Simply take the ball off and gently work the space in the hoop to the hole. (if the ring is too small you may have to bend the hoop a bit to make it larger)
hold the inside with your teeth and you spin the ball to the right
Either it isn't screwed on tight enough or if its a captive ball ring, the ring isn't tight enough. So either use pliers to squeeze the ring tighter or screw it on.
Screw the ball back on the jewellery.
I wouldn't but it can be done
Push the bead side ways and it will pop off the ring, it's called a captive bead ring, the bead is held by the tension of the ring nothing more. no to get the ball off, you turn the ball to your right. the phrase Righty tighty lefty losey applies only it's the left of the piercer in which case would be your right. if the ball is stubborn and still won't come off go to a the piercer that put the piercing in place or another body art studio and explain to them you can't get the ball off and they should loosen it for you.
no, my son had to take his out for a pe lesson after one week and part of it had healed in that short amount of time. He had to pop the skin to get the ring through his lip again, massive pain. He did not do pe again for a couple of months, much to the annoyance of the teachers. Most lip rings are in the shape of a hoop and have a ball as a closure. I think you're describing a Captive ball/bead ring. Its really difficult to explain by typing it out and can be tricky to figure out for the first time. The best thing is to look up videos on how to open/close a CBR on youtube or something like that.
Unscrew the ball or gem. If it's too tight to unscrew, either go to your piercer for a longer bar, or soak it in warm water to relieve the swelling.
