You have to train it.
Pick the dog you want to be dominant. Tie or pen the non-dominant chosen dog and feed both dogs with one penned and one free. Takes a few times, but the free dog establishes dominance.
I'm not sure but it would be a great start to get the dogs friends and maybe if their tired of something get them to sit together
It depends if the lab or sharpei likes other dogs. if you have a lab just bring the shar pei along and see if they like each other if they dont take away the shar pei
It depends on what kind of dogs you get. You can get a bull dog and a lab and they might not get along. You can get a small and big dog and they might not get along. This isn't a question of breeds getting along. Any dog will get along with any other dog provided it's properly socialized. Unless properly socialized, the Chow Chow often will not get along well with other dogs.
you can get other breeds but it isn't a necessity
I have a black lab and a St.Bernard and the black lab constantly licks my St.Bernards eyes and jowls. When I asked my vet why he did this so much they told me it was a nurturing quality and that my lab was just looking after my St.Bernard.
As well as any other dog. How well depends on the Lab itself, how muscular and aggressive it might be and the other dog or dogs.
Yes, labs are often working dogs for usually the blind or disabled. But there are also other breeds that are working dogs too.
