i dont know can u tell me
Can anyone please tell me where the ignition switch is located on a 2000 oldsmobile silhouette?
Well on a small block Chevy there will be no coil wire going from the top of the cap to a coil. What you can do to see the difference is go here.
well you first need to tell someone is it electronic ignition or dose it have points ??
Unplug ignition coils one at a time until you find the one that doesn't effect the rpm's.That's the one that's bad.
auto zone will check your codes for FREE. if you have a bad coil pack they will tell you.
The 1992 Rangers have a distributorless electronic ignition system and if the ignition coil packs are an issue the resistance of them can be checked with an ohm meter to tell if they are OK.
bad coil pack on cylinders, find or pull ignition wires and you can tell by no loss of power.
I was looking at one of Fords websites and for a 2000 Lincoln LS REAR suspension , as far as I can tell from the drawings , there are ball joints on the top on what they call the " trailing arms "
ignition coil is mounted inside the distributor ,underneath the rotor. BE CAREFULL, the ignition coil to 1994 galant is expensive .study it before just yanking out screws. It has a sensor plate inside and when you undo the screws in haste it comes apart and that controls the computer make break signal to tell were #1 is. Sooooooo, you then get to spend a lot of time figuring out how it goes back together. And guess what nobody but the Japaneese factory knows and now i do.,because i did this accidently. GOOD LUCK!
If you have the 4.6 liter ( 281 cubic inch ) V8 it has spark plug wires and ( 2 ) coil packs on a 1997 Ford Expedition . It has EDIS ( Electronic Distributorless Ignition System) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If you have the 5.4 liter ( 330 cubic inch ) V8 it has the Coil On Plug ( C.O.P. ) ignition system with ( 8 ) individual coils for the spark plugs
I'm not a mechanic / technician but on the 1999 Ford Expedition I believe the 4.6 liter was still using the EDIS ( Electronic Distributorless Ignition System ) which uses ( 2 ) coil packs with spark plug wires , where the 5.4 liter has always used the Coil On Plug ( C.O.P. ) ignition system with ( 8 ) individual coils
