if you have a bad coil pack they will tell you.
On a 2000 Ford E-250 , 5.4 L V8 engine : 4 - 8 3 - 7 2 - 6 1 - 5 front of vehicle
THERE IS NO DISTRIBUTOR ON A 5.4. IT USES IGNITION COIL PACKS
The 2000 Blazer with the 4.3 engine has one coil.
It doesn't have a distributor cap , it's coil on plug ignition
Probably the number two ignition coil. Also check the spark plug and the wiring to the coil.
Check the ignition coil for power. Check the crank position sensor, and make sure that the engine is turning over ( timing belt not broken.) Check to make sure that fuel is getting to the engine as well.
If the reason you want to check the coils is because of a check engine misfire code swap the coil with a coil from another cylinder, clear the codes, drive if the check engine light comes back on see if the code follows the coil you moved. If so replace the coil.
If it has the 2.2L engine, yes.
There is a little bolt(I believe a 5/16) that holds the coil over in place. You need to disconnect the wire connection from the coil over and it removes just like a regular spark plug boot.

pull the plug and see if there is oil on the electrobs
I don't have a photo, but they are in the top of the engine right next to the fuel rail and fuel injectors. The Triton engine has a separate coil for each plug. The coil is mounted on top of the plug and is round in shape with a plug in. There will be a small screw...7mm I think, holding the coil in that has to be removed.
