If it's leaking and squealing, it's bad. If it's not, it's probably OK. It should be changed when you change the timing belt.
dash lights don't work, but the fues is good.
try a chilton pro 9348 it's good but hard to find another choice is haynes 64200 not as good but only 13.95 plus postage
Got the same issue, gas cutting off on hills. Does anyone have some good instructions on how to replace the fuel pump on a 1998 Mercury Villager 3.0 L? Thanks... HJC
Have your cat converter checked out.
Cause the window motor is out
There is no recommended interval, but if you are draining the system for any reason, that would be a good time to do so.
I believe if you research the issue you will find that the Mercury Villager is actually a Nissan Quest and I doubt that the engine will fit the Ford Ranger. Good Luck!
If you don't have experience doing this I suggest you take it to a glass shop, or you could do more harm than good.
You will have to take out all of the parts to do this. Unless you have some experience with doing automechanics, it is a good idea to take it in.
This is an extremely comlplex process best left to someone with experience. It will take a good mechanic most of a day to do this.
The radio lights are supposed to come on when you turn on your headlights and adjust with the rest of your dashboard lights. I had this problem when I purchased my 1995 Mercury Villager back in 1997 with a mere 33k miles on the odometer. I believe the mechanic replaced the display panel under warranty. I have not had a problem since. I will look for that work authorization and get back to you if it was something different. I am not sure If your problem is the same but it is worth exploring replacing the display panel. Good Luck
You don't. Buy new or good used seat belts. Don't try to fix them if they are not working.
