* Your friend is taking advantage of you. You should have not gotten into the habit of driving her around town for years because now she expects it. Proper etiquette is she should have a dinner (however low cost it is) If she is having financial difficulties she certainly can make Hamburgers and chips for you when you come over. It doesn't have to be an expensive meal. to simply say 'thank you.' If you want to remain friends then trust, honesty and good communication skills are needed and it's time you let her know how you feel.

What does it mean to have a friend?

Having a friend means having someone you can share anything with, bad or good, some one who sticks by you no matter if you are wrong or right. A friend is someone who will tell you when you do something wrong or compliment you when you do something right. A friend is someone you trust with your life. A friend is everything. Without friends in this life, you have nothing. A friend can be a stranger or a sister! Family of not, a friend is a friend. A friend is the one person you can always count on! She will cry when you cry, beat someone up if they make you cry, make you laugh until you have tears, laugh when you fall down but helps you get up.
