I feel sure that people who are colonised by a foreign power do not like being so treated. And this feeling is justified. The days of Empire are now behind us, for the most part. But History is what it is: What was seen as just in the past may not now be the case, but I think it is important to remember that in the past powers such as, where I live, in Britain, what was done was not only seen as just... it Was just & right and Imperial. That does not make it right in todays world, but it was seen as right then. Indeed it was simply unchallengable.

Because they feel that the are better than anyone else. I don't know why i feel depressed?
sometimes we feel depressed because we feel we can never do enough for a special or a ono-special person but we shouldn't because we need to understand you will feel like that but when you do you cant feel bad about yourself you have to feel confident and be strong because your you're own person and you shouldn't care what other people think about you

Yes and no. Some people feel good about making contributions to WikiAnswers because they are trying to improve it. However, some people think of it as just fun. Personally, I do it for fun, but I do feel good about being able to answer people's questions.
