if your vehicle is equipped with a 2.0 litre vct(varable cam timing) special tools are required to time proper/consisting of a cam shaft straight edge & top dead center stop, but can be done without if you watch carefully , bring keyway on crank to 12 o clock position, turn each cam until slot in rear line up with some sort of straight edge (file) hole each cam with 15/16 wrench loosen cam gear with torx socket/intake cam will require a torx & 5/8 12 point socket the cam gears are designed to move feely to allow the proper tension to be adjusted, after belt is installed be sure to line-up notch with line on the tensioner by loosening 10mm bolt head & adjusting with Allen wrench good luck (Ford tech)
