You can't. Tilt wheel was never an option on Ford Escort. The preceeding statement is FALSE. I own a 88 Ford Escort GT and it has a tilt steering wheel. Indeed, it's causing problems for me. The tile wheel is moving freely and the steering column cover is loose. Car loses all electrical power and dies when the wheel is moving of it's own accord. Seems like it's choking off some wires or something because I can pull the wheel towards me and power returns. I'd like anyone that knows what's happenig here to help me out and share info with me. Please!
The 1995 Escort did not have power steering.
As with any FORD, a few sticks of dynamite will get you the proper result.
The 98 escort zx2 did not come with a tilt steering wheel
It has a steering wheel of 14 inch diameter.
