There's a 10mm bolt at the back of the block just above the o/s drive shaft, you have to take this out and put in the timing pin (i just used a drill bit that was long enough) when you put the pin in , turn the pulley wheel anti clockwise until you feel the drill bit drop into the timing slot , then remove the pin and replace the bolt and bobs your uncle
The crankshaft pulley is the lowest pulley on the engine. Looking at the engine from the front which is looking at it from the passenger side fender the crank pulley is on the bottom of the engine and has a pulley with a pulley behind it with teeth on it.
The crank sensor is located on the front side of the crank pulley, between the pulley and radiator.
the crank pulley bolt has standard threads.
How do you remove the bottom front right airbag on a 2011 ford fiesta.
The water pump pulley is the pulley right above the crank pulley (the big pulley in the bottom of the engine.) Right above the water pump pulley should be the alternator pulley, which drives the alternator. I'm guessing the water pump is behind the WP pulley. == == == ==
The crank sensor is located on the bottom of the timing cover under the right hand side of the water pump by the crankshaft pulley.
Next to the crank pulley. Held on with 2 10mm bolts.
the bottom of the engine, near the lowest pulley with the serpentine belt wrapped around it. on your routing diagram, that pulley will be marked "Crank" just behind this pulley there is a gear that looks like it's missing a tooth. look for something that either partially covers or is near that gear, that has a wire going to it, that's your crank position sensor. autozone.com has excellent diagrams for it's location.
problably your crank positioning sensor, on the front of motor, behind crank pulley. about a $40.00 dollar part. good luck
Hi I take it that you are replacing the crankshaft pulley and need to know how to stop the engine turning whilst tightening the pulley bolt, you need to remove the starter motor so that you can lock the flywheel, this will require a second person as you need to hold a reasonable size flat blade screwdriver in the starter ring gear unless you can borrow the engine locking tool, but a strong screwdriver will work.

The quickest way is to take a picture of the belt routing then cut the old belt off the new belt is a stretchy design you use the special tool you get with a genuine belt from fords and lace this over the water pump pulley bolts then stretch the belt on by rotation the crank pulley
