to catch a lost hamster, you don't need a hamster trap. You can just get a bucket, put some strong-smelling food inside that fills at least a quatre of the bucket. Place a ramp or a ladder of some sort so that the hamster will smell the food, climb up the ramp/ladder, and will fall in but can't get out again. This won't hurt the little hamster at all.
Place small amounts of treats around in different places remember how many you put down and where don't forget to use small plastic containers. Eventually the hamster can find them and it will need to eat sometime. You can then find her/him and place the hammie back into the cage safe and sound.
It depends on where it is. If it is in the vent then find somebody small. If it is just running around your house then race after it.
what store sell to catch a hamster trap
Get a majorly long string of yarn and tie some with their shells peanuts to it then leave it there when the hamster comes out at night it will try to gather the peanuts then leaving a trail of yarn to its hiding place set up several of these in different rooms
this just sounds a bit stupid but did a small trench, put twigs over it, put leaves on the twigs, and put a hamster wheel on the leaves.
set a trap with food to catch it... make a "staircase" of a few books leading up to a hamster treat or food, put a bin on the other side of the "top" and when the hamster gets the treat, scoop him into the bin.
Hamsters love peanut butter and the smell will help them find it. Depending on the trap, it is also a good idea to put the peanut butter on apple slices.
Look around VERY carefully- my hamster escaped and got stuck in a cockroach trap, the other one was in my parents room- look in nooks and crannies then places where food is stored- then maybe bug traps- they could have scavenged for bugs to eat... :)
It can do this becase of its need to use its teeth. Give it branches of forest trees (if you don't it can get serious problems as the teeth will grow too long). Or maybe it is trying to escape? Also, the hamster may be stressed, or just bord, is the cage big enough? Does it have enough toys/things to do?
There is lots like, Syrian, Chinese dwarf hamster, Campbells dwarf hamster, Robo dwarf hamster, Russian hamster. My favorite, is the blueberry campbells dwarf hamster and the Syrian hamster. They are the sweetest and easy to hold. NOT THE ROBO"S!!!
well you need to find out the room its in first, so put food in a corner in each room and then check which one has been eaten. then try using a trap like pringles tube, put food in the end and raise the other end with books for steps so the hamster will become trapped
