Why did a first year student at SMEC Neemrana commit suicide?

Suicide Attempt at SMEC NeemranaAlmost no information is available about SMEC Neemrana or any student suicides at the college. According to one source only, there was a second year student who put a pill in his mouth, but friends present at the time got him to spit it out. He was taken to be checked medically. No information was found about a first year, or any other student attempting or succeeding in committing suicide at that college.

At SMEC Neemrana are there any verifiable instances of teachers drinking and fighting?

No Verfiable InstancesAlthough some allegations have been made of teachers drinking and fighting, no information was found on the Internet to substantiate those allegations.

Why is no power getting to the coil on an 1989 Dodge Van?

I don't know if there is a fusable link! This is what I did. I lifted the glove box out and next to the fusebox is a flat black box (3" x 5" x 1 "), probably the electronic ignition. I unplugged it and replaced it. Further I replaced the relays (3 of them under the hood). one is located directly beside the smec computer, one is a metal relay in the middle of the firewall and the other is in between the brake booster and the batterie. I tried it again and it works. the other way is, run a wire from the batterie to the pos side of the coil (to supply power). pull one of the sparkplug wire of and stick another sparkplug in it and lay it on top of the valve cover. Crank the motor over and see if the sparkplug sparks (this is to check your coil working properly!)

89 dodge dynasty start but no idle?

I have a '91 Dynasty 3.3 and mine did the same thing. After changing the map sensor, fuel pressure regulator and a couple others I went to a bone yard picked up a SMEC (which I was advised that it was probaly the colpit) I pluged it in and it's been running since. Knock on wood..these dam Dynasty's have something in the SMEC that when it thinks it is being stolen it will automaticly cut of the fuel supply. Good luckBy "start but no idle" I assume you mean the engine starts up for a second or two and then dies, as opposed to running fine except at idle. I have an 89 Dynasty 3.0 which did a similar thing. It would start and run for maybe 3 seconds and then die, and the problem was worse when it was hot. long story short, after several mis-diagnosis from several shops including the local dealership, the problem turned out to be the fuel pump which is located in the tank. After paying $75 for the pump at NAPA and $100 labor, I was back on the road running fine.

Is a 2.2 turbo motor from a 1987 Le Baron Convertible interchangeable with a 2.5 turbo motor in a 1989 Le Baron convertible Computers and all?

The engines are swappable, but you will need the right computer in each car (Logic module in pass kick panel for '87 (the module on the driver front fender from 84-87 is a power module, not a computer) (& a SMEC in the '89 (The module on the driver front fender) for each engine as the 2.5 has higher fuel/air requirements than a 2.2. A 2.2 running 2.5 electroncs will run rich & a 2.5 running 2.2 electronics will run lean.

On a 1995 Dodge Van 318 V8 the engine cranks fine but there is no spark to the distributor could this be a SMEC problem?

The distributor induction coil may not be sending a signal to trigger the spark. Wiggle that pigtail wire coming out of the distributor boy and see if the engine will start. If it does, then install a new induction coil. The wires coming out of the distributor body sometimes develop breaks. If the dealer doesn't have the coil, then you can use a substitute Mopar part from NAPA, however, the Mopar part doesn't fit as tight into the distributor body as the original part. Plan to pay about $50 for the part. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Save the screws from the original part. If I remember correctly, the replacement screws with the Mopar part are bit short.

Where is the idle screw on a 1993 Dodge Spirit?

the base idel screw in on the bottom of the throttle body.. there should be a cap over itWhile there is a screw, it is more properly an idle stop screw, more than an idle adjustment screw; since the idle is controlled electronically by the SMEC (Single Module Engine Control) through the AIC (or AIS) valve mounted on the Throttle body. The screw that our friend refers to, is used in the factory to crack open the butterfly or throttle plate, but it should not be further adjusted. Instead, find the cause why Idle is not between 700-900 RPM. Possible causes are a dirty AIC valve, or an sticking one; or a wiring intermittent contact at the AIC valve connector; or a cracked insulation on the engine speed sensor, or even a failing throttle position sensor. Where is the ECM located on a 1991 Dodge Dynasty 3 3 liter how much does it cost any tips on how to install?

The Single Module Engine Controller (SMEC) or Single Board Engine Controller (SBEC)is located on the left inner fender panel behind the battery. Remove the battery cables and remove the battery (negative cable first, of course). The air intake for the engine passes over and cools the module. Disconnect the intake duct at the module. Now remove the screw that secures the wiring harness to the module and carefully remove the harness by pulling straight out. Finally, you can unbolt and remove the module from the fender panel. In Nov, 2002, I purchased a module from a salvage yard in Avon, MN, Martini Auto Parts. Costs $55.00 including shipping. Module worked fine. Martini sold a good product at a fair price and shipped it when they said they would. Would do business with them again. I hope this helps you. Eddie, Lubbock, TX
