i dont know, however you can export from imovie into quicktime just press share then quicktime
If you bring the quicktime video into imovie, you can go into the export menu and export as audio. You can set it into MP3 format there.

No. You have to convert the video to a format used by the media player. A Quicktime video is an Apple/Mac file. Use Quicktime player to view it or convert it.
