my ignition on my Honda accord will not turn over all of a sudden.could this have something to do with the viper alarm? thanks
In order to disable the alarm system on a 2005 Honda Accord, you can either disconnect the battery, or remove the alarm module all together inside the car.
That is normal. Chrysler only built the car with two ways to turn off alarm. One is with remote. The other is turning ignition on with the smart key. There isn't a way to permanetly turn alarm off.
They need to be torqued to 22 lb.ft and then turn them 180 degrees in 2 steps start from the center and work out. Read more: 1998 honda accord 2.3L head bolt torque specs - JustAnswer http://www.justanswer.com/honda/1k1jk-1998-honda-accord-2-3l-head-bolt-torque-specs.html#ixzz1pntfWIDI
How do you turn on the passenger airbag on a 05 Honda accord lx
have vehicle scanned to determine the problem and have codes cleared
most likely one of the bulbs is burned out
Alarm keeps going off in the middle of the night even though I don't turn the car on. I have purchased a new battery last year, not the problem. It is so annoying. I do not need to use the alarm, can it be disabled. My neighbors are probably angry.
Simply pop the hood. Find the annoying source of sound. And cut the wires off.
Depending on the year you put the key in the door lock and turn it left then right. It should work
I had this same problem with my Honda. I figured out through a process of elimination that the door remotes lost part of their signal to turn the alarm off. The solution? Search Wiki for how to reprogram your remote key fob. This will restore the signal coding to properly unlock and turn off your alarm. Just reprogram the remotes and this should solve your problem.
If your 2002 Honda Civic alarm will not turn off, place the key in the driver's side door. Lock and unlock the door to disable the alarm.
