you DONT it is a required safety feature that they also be on - they act as sidemarkers.
Havent you read "unsafe at any speed"? That's when they mandated it!
Or you can pull the DRL fuse and use the lights whenever you want. just use your head when its dark or skies are grey and so is your car turn something on.
