On a 1998 Ford Ranger :
Try rotating the gauge panel dimmer switch all the way up , I BELIEVE that
turns on the interior courtesy lights and the cargo light
* in your dash , just to the right of the headlight switch *
On a 2001 Ford Ranger : Rotate your gauge panel dimmer control all the way UP ( that turns on the interior courtesy lights and the cargo lights ) * located in your dash next to the headlight switch
Turn your interior light dimmer until it turns on the cabin lights.
I believe that you turn your gauge panel dimmer switch all the way up ( located in your dash just to the right of the headlight switch ) and that turns on all your courtesy lights including the cargo light
It is on the same dial as the dashboard lights. Turn it all the way up until you hear/feel it click.
burnt fuse ... tail lights are on a different circuit than stop or turn lights
On a 1996 Ford E-150 : Rotate the headlight knob in your dash fully COUNTERCLOCKWISE to turn on the courtesy and cargo lights
I believe the cargo lamp turns on when you rotate the gauge lighting dimmer wheel all the way up to turn on the inside courtesy lights . The dimmer wheel is on your dash just to the right of your headlight switch
Just to the right of your headlight switch on your dash is a gauge panel dimmer wheel switch , when that is rotated all the way up it turns on the courtesy lights , and I believe that will also turn on the cargo lights
The replacement bulbs for Ford Rangers can be purchased at your local auto parts store. The lights are very economical.
if turn signals are working , and brake lights not working, i would replace the stop light switch on the brake pedal
Sounds like a bad battery cable connection or a dead battery
Do any of your lights work ? If not it sounds like a battery cable connection or a dead battery
