A visual notification that the alarm is in valet mode is the LED light is on solid. If the LED is on solid and you wish to make the alarm active again, turn the ignition "on" then, press and hold the valet/programming switch for two seconds. The LED light will turn off.If the LED light is not on solid then, the issue may be with siren itself.

try turning your key on and flip the valet switch, your alarm is most likely in valet mode (youll know cause the led stays on) if that doesnt work, turn the key on and off then toggle thye valet switch 3x and that'll turn off silent mode. contact@adrianbarascu.ro

If you have a valet switch, just hold it in for a few seconds with the alarm off and release when it beeps or blinks the LED. You may be able to unhook the battery briefly to reset the alarm's status.

What do you mean by "valet mode"? If you mean the trunk release button won't work, there's a valet switch inside the glove compartment that activates and deactivates it. Just turn it off. OR You use the black key in the trunk keyhole which is located in the xk8 emblem. The Keyhole is located between the x and k. That should take it of valet mode.
Turn off the alarm by pressing the upper and lower buttons on the right side of the watch while it is in time mode.
First, unscrew the bottom and switch the "mode lock" to ON. Press the "mode" button on the back of "Bob" until you get to the alarm. Then simply press and hold the Up arrow.
Open door Turn ignition on press valet button on and off 3 times (you will hear chime) press lock button turn ignition off DONE!!

I first thought that it was a starter promblem so i replaced it. same deal, no difference. if anyone have a clue as to what may be going on please respond as soon as possible. thanks
