How do you turn passenger side air bag on in a 2005 jeep liberty limited?

There is no manual shut-off. If whatever (whoever) is in the seat doesn't weigh enough the air bag will not deploy. I don't know the exact weight, but it was designed so that children will not get whacked by the airbag, so you should be fine.
