I found this from zolved, and i :
1. connect your iPod touch to iTunes
2. press or hold the power and home keys 10 seconds
3. screen goes black, now release the power button
4. make sure you don't release the home key until your itunes says "we have detected an itouch in recovery mode
5. after this its simple, all you got to do is a simple restore using your itunes

When you unlock a passcode that has been forgotten on your iPod Touch, all of your songs will unfortanetly be deleted, and you will have to put all of them back on. But if you are CHANGING your passcode, off of the settings button on your iPod Touch, nothing will happen to your current memory.

If you forgot the password, you can't unlock it. The only way to unlock it is to wipe out the iPod's memory completely by restoring it through iTunes.

if you forgot your password i would call best buy and technaial support and they can reset it for you i think and try to remember it put in some numbers that you think it is then if you want to change go to general and passcode and then put in your passcode and after that click change and put in your old one then your new one then write your new one on a peice of paper so you will have it when you unlock you iPod touch.
The important thing to remember is to Set-up as a new iPod and not restore from back up. The latter will result in the restriction code still being there.
