There are two meanings for "unplug a fuel injector" 1) Your engine has 4 fuel injectors, they are triggered electrically, meaning: there are wires going to each one, the wires are in a moulded plug with a clip, you slightly move the clip (so as not to break it off) and unplug the connector. 2) It is fairly rare that a fuel injector gets "plugged", they can become dirty though and sometimes some relief can be had by adding a can of fuel injector cleaner to the gas tank, otherwise you would replace your injector(s) with rebuilt ones. "How do you know if your turbo is working?" Again, a question with many answers. 1) you "hear" it.... the "whistle" becomes quite "hearable" at 5000+ rpm. 2) you "feel" it.... a Subaru turbo engine is a low compression engine, while a non-turbo engine makes about 140 horsepower, a turbo engine with a non-working turbo would make about 100 horsepower. 3) you might choose to use a vacuum pressure guage connected to your intake manifold and when driving the car and accelerating note the state of your intake manifold (vacuum, or pressure).
