There are a number of reasons why a 1991 Toyota Corolla engine would stop running after startup. It could the idle control, an EGR leak, or low fuel pressure.Ê
I used Lucas stop leak not a fix but it does work....
It will most likely fail again. The Lucas just softens and makes the seals expand to help seal the leak. They are usually on temporary.
not at all, i have used it for years and had no problems
One reason why fuel and temperature gauges would stop working on a 1992 Toyota Corolla would be a short in the wires. This would lead to a blown fuse. Check the fuse and replace it.
Depends on how severe the leak is. If it is a bad leak at the pump, then you more than likely need to replace the pump. If it is leaking severely at a hose, the hose needs replacing. If it is a very minor leak, you can try a PS stop leak, such as Lucas Power Steering Stop Leak. This may or may not stop the leak.
no. Audi uses a CHF type fluid, and is incompatible with an ATF type fluid like the lucas PSSL
Clutch not to be all disengage to completeness
In 1997 Camry and Corolla makes did not offer a wagon body style.
There are some oil additives you can get, that might stop the leak. But if the leak has developed, the only way to fix it is to replace the seal.
fuel pump or vaccum leak ????
Your 2001 Toyota corolla SHOULDN'T use 1 quart of oil for every refill of the gas tank. If yours is doing this, i would stop driving it immediately because if you lose enough oil, your engine will overheat and cease itself in place, literally welding it so it will never move again. I believe that you have a very severe oil leak and would get it checked right away.
