Yes, the feeder will have to be a three wire cable.
The specific colours of brown and blue suggests that this is a question from the UK or European area. On checking the IP address it shows that the question comes from Uruguay. 110 volts is not a common voltage to this area, so that 110 volts can not be converted to 220 volts because 220 volts is the common working voltage. If the question is asking about using 120 volt equipment in that country see related links below.
If it's a 220 volt circuit without a neutral bring wire into panel, put ground wire on ground bar, put load wires onto breaker.
There is an oversized or malfunctioning fuse in the fuse box. The fuse should blow before the wire is damaged.
yes there is a fuse in the fuse box. the wire will lead to it or to the ignition switch. But the fuse to amke the hot wire hot is in the under dash mounted fuse box.
I use it from my car box the battery.
depending on the stereo, most I have installed will have a power wire, some times yellow orange or red,and there will be a blue for power antenna, one of the power wires will connect to the ignition side of the fuse box,(this will only have 12 volts when the key switch is on)and the memory wire will connect to a constant power supply, like the battery or the fuse box that where there is 12 volts with the key on or off, make sure there are the correct size fuses inline for each positive wire
To fix a burned wire that is plugged in at the fuse box under the Battery sign, the wire will have to be removed and a new one soldered in place. Before doing this, find the cause or overload that caused this wire to burn in the first place. It could be that a fuse of too high an Amp was placed in the fuse box by mistake.
The wire from the battery to the starter does not include a fuse.
just run it back to the fuse box and put it on the ignition fuse
u attatch the red wire to the blue wire
There should be a radio fuse in the fusebox that you will want to tie your radio wire into.
