Belgium celebrates the same way as we do in the Western world - but Halloween took a long time to catch on in Central Europe. Belgium, Italy, and Holland (just to name a few) do observe Halloween, though many of the elderly don't understand or know what it is.

People in Belgium celebrate Christmas by getting presents from Pere Noel. If you are a good child you will receive lollies and sweets and if you are a bad child you would receive a bunch of twigs and sticks either in your shoes or at the front of your house in a little basket.Belgium have 2 Santa's one is Pere Noel and the other is St. Nicholas. Pere comes twice a year and St. Nicholas comes once. They both give present's to different parts of Belgium.To celebrate people in belgium make a sweet bread shaped like baby Jesus!

Not many people celebrate it. We celebrate Sint Maarten. Children makes lampoons and go around the neighbourhood to sing and get candy or fruit as a reward.

Fruit is not favorable but mostly old people give fruit.

Belgium hangs up ornaments and tinsel around trees just like Americans do.
