People in Belgium celebrate Christmas by getting presents from Pere Noel. If you are a good child you will receive lollies and sweets and if you are a bad child you would receive a bunch of twigs and sticks either in your shoes or at the front of your house in a little basket.Belgium have 2 Santa's one is Pere Noel and the other is St. Nicholas. Not many people celebrate it. We celebrate Sint Maarten. Children makes lampoons and go around the neighbourhood to sing and get candy or fruit as a reward.

Fruit is not favorable but mostly old people give fruit.
