Most documents that are printed out and saved are done so through Microsoft Word. If you are going to type something up for any reason, you would probably use Word, and then save it for later use. It is extremely helpful for saving attachments. Once you get an attachment in an email, or anything remotely interesting that you want to save, you can just click and drag until all of the text you want is highlighted and do a right click and hit copy. Once you open up Word (a taskbar shortcut or Start menu shortcut), you can just right click again and hit paste, and there it will be, though it will take much longer depending on how big the document is. Also, any and all documents in Word, regardless of whether they are being moved there or if they were already there, can be edited or reworded and saved again with the changes intact or even with a new file name.
