i don't think GM offered dual tanks on their late model trucks, but you could order a larger (34gal) than stock tank (22gal) with a longbed.

Trucks can only use about 90% of the fuel in the tanks before sloshing lets the pickup get air so on average 180 gal. at 6mpg would get a truck 1080 miles between fill ups
