A cell performs pinocytosis when it needs a fluid that's outside of the cell. It does this by taking in the fluid particle in through the cell membrane. It wraps the particle in a layer of the membrane. See the related link for an example.
In endocytosis, pinocytosis happens when fluid together with its contents are taken into the cell by forming narrow channels through its membrane that then pinch off into vesicles. They then fuse with lysosomes that hydrolyze or break down contents.

Pinocytosis
Pinocytosis involves the transport of fluids into a cell. Pinocytosis is when small particles are brought into the cell. It is also a mode of endocytosis.

Pinocytosis Is Known As Cell Eating .

pinocytosis
Phagocytosis and pinocytosis are both types of endocytosis, which occurs when a substance is brought into the cell. Phagocytosis is called cell eating, while pinocytosis is referred to as cell drinking.
FLuids into a cell.
Pinocytosis :)
The 2 types of endocytosis are pinocytosis("cell drinking) in which liquids are taken up by the cell and then there is phagocytosis (cell-eating) in which the cell engulfs certain substances.
Pinocytosis is when cell membranes form in foldings that fill with cellular fluid to bring into the cell. Pinocytosis is a form of endocytosis.
