There are basically 2 kinds . The first, used a lot in septic and irrigation lines is the flapper check valve . this is a tube containing a simple flapper on a small hinge that opens to flow direction and closes by gravity when flow drops. These are usually plastic valves and are relatively cheap.
The other type, in use in Plumbing systems is the spring loaded check valve, These are usually well made in brass casing and hold a round stopper that seals against a round surface. At back of the stopper is a small spring that keeps the valve closed till pressure against it gets to a set level, usually about 25psi. When pressure drops, the valve closes.
Replace it.
A dual check valve is similar to a double check valve in that it is a mechanical backflow preventer consisting of two independently acting, spring-loaded check valve.
This is not a forum for Valve technical assistance. I would check with their website forums for help.
There is no difference between check valve and NRV, both are same
A check valve allows for flow in one direction and a gate valve is used for positive shut off and a globe valve is used for throttling
A check valve or one-way valve enables fluids to flow through in a single direction.
Does the fan work? if not, check fuses. if does work, check coolant level first. Next, check heater valve in engine compartment, on fire wall, has ~ 1 inch hoses connected between the engine and to the heater core inside the passenger side. Have someone turn temperature knob inside car and observe cable on Heater Valve is moving. (Can be simple as the screw on top of heater valve loose or cable maybe stuck). Heater valve can be stuck closed. Check hose gets hot between valve and heater core.
You can check the valve clearance with a valve clearance guide. Slide the guide between the valve. The guide will register the clearance.
Try removing negative battery cable for 10 minutes. If that does not work you will need an OBD2 scan tool to reset the light. I just cleaned my egr valve and the check engine light went off and I drove it a little and it came back on how long do I have to drive my car after work with the egr valve how many miles
Fuel pump check valve is on the pump in the tank. vacuum check valve is in the line going through the firewall.
A check valve restricts the flow of a liquid or gas in a piping system to one direction.
