Best Answer

steam from the turbine passes through tubes that are suurounded by water that is cooler than the steam

the steam is therefore cooled

the steam then turns back into water

=condensor

The gas travels through the condenser, and the condenser removes the heat, cooling the gas down until it eventually becomes a liquid and drops down (the liquid gathers on the inside surface of the condenser and drips down after enough liquid condenses)

If, by 'condenser', you are referring to a capacitor (a 'condenser' is an archaic term for capacitor), then it stores energy within its magnetic field when an external potential difference acts to transfer charge from one of its plates to the other -thus creating an electric field within the dielectric between its plates. Some texts indicate that capacitors 'store charge'; this is misleading, as the net charge on a 'fully charged' capacitor is identical to the net charge before it was charged. What it does do is to store 'separated charge' -it does this by transferring electrons from one plate to the other when an external potential difference is applied -the 'charge on the capacitor' then being the amount of negative charge on the negative plate.

What happened to the refrigerant in the condenser?

The Refrigerant enters the condenser as a high pressured gas, the condenser then condenses that gas and changes it to a liquid form.

What condenser do?

Condensation turns a gas into a liquid.

Why would your car's condenser ice over on the outside?

It has an internal blockage! Air conditioning gas cools as it expands (as it changes from liquid to a gas). It is meant to be a liquid in your condenser but if your condenser has a blockage (say some dirt or other contaminent) then the liquid loses pressure on the other side of the blockage and becomes a gas. This makes your condenser really cold and frosty on the outside!

What is a condenser in a lab known as?

A condenser is generally an object made from glass, used to condense a gas to a liquid.

What is the name of the apparatus used to convert vapor into liquid during distillation?

A condenser.

Does liquid nitrogen evaporate or can convert into gas?

Yes it can convert into gas, bcoz it reqired high temperatue to convert liquid nitrogen to gas.

What is the function of a condenser in refrigerator?

The condenser cools the refridgerant. This turns it from a gas back to a liquid. Absorbing heat from the stored food causes the refridgerant to change from liquid to gas. This 'warm' gas is passed through the condenser, where the heat escapes. As the gas cools, it turns back to liquid for re-circulation. If you touch the coil at the back of a fridge - you'll see what I mean.

What is the equiment to change the gas back to liquid?

This equipment is called condenser.

What is liquid receiver in refrigeration system?

It is fitted on discharge line after condenser, where the gas enters in liquid forms.

Function of a condenser?

The condenser receives hot high pressure gas refrigerant from the air conditioning compressor. It cools this gas (it looks like a radiator) turning the gas into a cooler liquid. (condensing it)

Function of evaporator condenser expansion valve and condenser?

Condesor- cools the liquid formed gas after compressor compresses. After condensor it pass through the expansion valve, then again liquid formed gas expanses to gas form and produses cooling .this cooled gas then passes through the evaporator coils

How does the arrangement and movement of particles in alcohol change as they get separated from the juice?

well in a liquid the particles move freely. When it goes through a condenser it changes into gas vapour. However when it comes back out it drops as a liquid because the condenser condenses the gas and changes the gas to liquid. The particles move closer as in a gas particle they move freely. So the gas particles move closer which forms the liquid particles. They change because they condense if the go through a condenser! Sorry if itz not the answer ur not lookin for sorry
