It's the Bigger leaver the more power you have type thing, so the bigger the wheel the better the steering power
Since mechanical advantage would be helpful for this situation, the diameter of the steering wheel is larger than the typical steering wheel. Increasing the diameter of the steering wheel allows for a large mechanical advantage.

take off center cover, remove large nut then use wheel puller to remove steering wheel
take horn button off of the steering wheel and you will see a large nut holding the wheel on, take the nut off and then you will need a steering wheel puller to get the wheel off it's splines.
remove ceter cap on steering wheel to gain access to large nut romve nut then use a steering wheel puller assembly pull steerinr wheel off the shaft
4 bolts are romoved from the backsode of the steering wheel. If airbag equipped remove airbag fuse first. Then remove airbag/ horn/ center assembly. Remove large nut from center of wheel, then pull wheel with steering wheel puller.
there should be a couple of bolts on the back side of your steering wheel that removes the front face and after you take that off there will be a large nut that will take off the rest of the steering wheel, but remember to disconnect the airbag before you remove the steering wheel cause you could set it off.
remove the center padded section on the steering wheel and you will see a large nut holding the wheel on, loosen the and take it off and then you will need a wheel puller to pull the wheel back off of the splines to take it off.
take horn cap off the center of the steering wheel and you will see large nut holding the wheel to the spindle, loosen nut and then you will need a wheel puller, install puller and tighten the nut down on the puller until the steering wheel frees itself from the spindle and your done.
From what I understand, power steering in cars (vehicles) is simply to make steering the car easier. If it were not for power steering, you would have to use a lot more muscle to turn the steering wheel than you use when you have that power steering in place!
A person needs a steering wheel puller to remove a steering wheel. It will help remove the steering wheel by putting pressure on the middle and by pulling up on the rest of the steering wheel.
