Yes they do. All reptiles need water - just as we do. How they get it varies across the species. Some drink from pools, others get enough moisture from their food to avoid having to actively drink.

Yes, I just saw a 4' rat snake sucking water puddled under the air conditioning. I sprayed a little extra for him. I live in southwest Florida.
