Well.... as i woman i wouldn't sleep with my husband after knowing that he cheated on me. Partners are suppose to love, trust, and respect each other, and cheating on someone is disrespecting and insulting this person. If you cheated on your wife with another woman you can try to apologize an start all over (if you are truly sorry).

From my own experience, it was hard. I know every wives are different, every mistress are different as well. But to know how the man that I married felt towards his mistress, it was very hard for me, because I'm not sure if he is making love to his mistress and not me. This part of my relationship with the man that I married was damage. It stays in my head and it didn't help me for a long time. Finding out that his mistress was carrying STD, it adds up, I felt so dirty, humiliated because I found out that he didn't used protection during sex with her. It all depends on the husband if he can really be honest and help you.
