72 amp for 2 wheel drive and 90 amp for 4 wheel drive.
Yes, I believe it is a front wheel drive vehicle. They stopped making rear drive cars in the late 80's and early 90's.
a gear found in the differential that meshes with the crown wheel to deliver drive threw a 90 degree angle to the road wheel

A rear wheel drive vehicle transmission has everything in a straight line . A Transverse mounted transmission has the gears made after the torque convertor at a 90 degree angle. (L shaped)
No it won't. The 2 engines have different bolt patterns on the rear. It's possible the dowel pins will line up, but several of the bolts don't. Sorry! Mike Bell
No it will not. The center shaft that run's through the inside of a 2 wheel drive trans. is shorter the the center shaft that's in a 4-wheel drive trans. The 4-wheel drive transmission center shaft is longer so it will fit into the transfur case.
It all depends on the truck. Is it 2 wheel drive or 4 wheel drive? What year is it? Is it a 1/2 ton, 3/4 ton , or 1 ton.? How many wheel studs? Most commonly on late model 1/2 ton trucks are 6 lug with a 5.5 between centers or 6x5.5 (6x135 Metric) bolt pattern. In the 80's and 90's models the 2 wheel drive had a 5x5 bolt pattern. If you have a 3/4 ton or a 1 ton then you should have 8 wheel studs and the bolt pattern is 8x6.5.
