Run a compression test. If only one cylinder has low compression, it's probably a damaged valve or pushrod. If the compression is low in all cylinders the cam is probably not timed correctly.

You remove the upper rad hose then remove the bolts holding on the housing (9 or 10mm I believe) then u pull out the housing, slap in the new and use your gasket method of choice. It takes 5 mins I've done it 3 times this year. No need to remove the power steering or the ac at all and timing belt cover is close to it but not in the way.
