If you abuse a child, there will be probably two outcomes in that child's future.

1. The child will be afraid to love anyone and they will be very, very scared

2. When that child gets his (or her) own kids, they will most likely abuse those kids to because they dont know any other way to be a parent

hope this helps you :)

Factors that encourage risk behavior of dagga?

It's very important to distinguish clearly between the use and the abuse of alcohol. Societies that fail to do so tend have high rates of alcohol abuse. Parents who either drink in moderation or who abstain set equally acceptable examples for their children. It's parents who abuse alcohol who set a bad example. > peer pressure > bad parenting (one or both parents drink and set a bad example) > the temptation to taste alcohol > acting before thinking > try to act cool and act like you have been drunk before > and just plain boredom

Proving emotional child abuse?

In the USA, it will depend on which state you live in. Generally though, regulations set forth guidelines for such investigations and determinations of abuse. For instance, in order to prove emotional abuse, you will generally need to have a CPS Department open an investigation. The investigators will then need to have the child undergo a psychological evaluation. If the evaluation determines that the child has some mental health diagnosis as a result of the actions of a caregiver, the determination of emotional abuse can be made.

Can you go to jail for marijuana around a child?

You can be charged if you are in possession of it whether it is around a child or not. Smoking marijuana around a child. Absolutely, positively! It is considered a form of child abuse. If you can be arrested and taken to jail for beating a child, then you can serve prison time for allowing the THC (chemical in Marijuana) to enter into a child's system. The child abuse would most likely be considered a misdemeanor and just the potential long-term affects to a young child's lungs and brain would be a felony. If there were actually long-term affects sustained......more time in prison.

Is it against the law to hit your child on the arm and leave a bruise with a belt?

Any hit or slap which leaves a mark or cut on a child could be determined to be child abuse. However, even a well-meaning parent using appropriate punishment with a child COULD accidentally leave a bruise. This is why authorities evaluate each case and the circumstances. That said, a child who is being beaten and abused can report this to the police, any teacher, or counselor. All are mandated to report suspected abuse. A child can also call Child Welfare to report. However, it doesn't mean the agency will decide it is abuse. If you did something wrong, and your parent accidentally left a bruise when he smacked you, is it truly abuse... or are you just angry that an adult can set the rules, even if you don't like those rules.
