Nature has had a natural balance on the earth for millions of years, through the carbon and water cycles. These cycles moved carbon in and out of the atmosphere and the oceans as well as the land. Similarly the water cycled moved water around the lands till it evaporated as water vapor into the atmosphere.

The carbon dioxide (CO2) and water vapor (greenhouse gases) worked in the atmosphere with the rays of the sun to keep the earth comfortably warm for as long as life has existed on the planet, and much longer, the greenhouse effect.

Now we have affected this balance by digging up all the ancient carbon that has been underground for 300 million years, yes, in fossil fuel, coal, oil and natural gas. When we burn fossil fuel all the extra carbon is released into the atmosphere and the carbon cycle is overwhelmed. It can't move all the CO2 out of the atmosphere so it stays there trapping more heat. The fact that we have cut down much of the great forests of the world, too, that used to absorb carbon dioxide out of the air and store the carbon in the trees. So the greenhouse effect becomes an enhanced, or accelerated greenhouse effect which is causing global warming, which is producing climate change.

How does man's activies affect the balance of nature?

Man's activities may affect the balance of nature positively or negatively. If human beings are careless, their activities end up endangering natural habitats and the weather patterns.

How does climate change threaten biodiversity?

As you know, balance is extremely important in nature. Climate change may only directly impact one species, but as a result, many others will feel the pain or gain based on the other animal specie's situation. For example, if the dolphin population were to decrease, tyeir preys' population would overdominate, eliminating the balance crucial to survival in the wilderness.

Who are responsible for climate change and how?

No one is responsible. It is just nature. Climate change has been happening for millions of years. The earth goes through cycles.

Environment problems affect people's health?

Of course they do. We live in a natural balance with all of nature and if there's a disharmony in one part of nature this balance becomes unbalanced and affects every other organism on Earth.

why struggle between man and nature?

The struggle between man and nature stems from the desire to control and exploit natural resources for human needs, often leading to environmental degradation and depletion of essential habitats. This conflict arises when human activities disrupt the natural balance, leading to consequences such as climate change, deforestation, and loss of biodiversity. Finding a balance between human development and the preservation of nature is crucial for sustainable coexistence.
