cotton grows in a field and it kind of looks like cotton candy
Cotton grows on a small bush-like plant. The plant has dark green leaves and is generally about 3 feet in height. The cotton contains the seed of the plant.
1. They are plants.
2. We get cotton from them.
3. They are alive.

They can grow wildly in woods, or in hedgerows.
More than likely Mealy Bugs, they have a white hydrophobic covering that prevents them from dehydrating. They look like small pieces of cotton wool
Ribosomes look like granes of sand
Cotton comes from a plant, not an animal. we get wool from sheep though, which at first glance might look like cotton.
The cotton plant grows in rows, or in stalks. It grows pretty tall and the cotton is soft to the touch. Hope this helps Y'all!!!
most cotton for denim is grown in the US, there are cotton bushes that are when in season look like cotton balls, then the cotton is turned into thread and woven to turn to denim
it is a white fluffy ball. You can find it in most medicine bottles. Cotton is soft fiber material. The plant has broad leaves with about 5 points. The plant has one main stalk with branches off of it. The plant requires a long time, about 5 monts, for it to mature and produce cotton. The plant is only ONE of two plants in the world that has a flower that changes color from pink to white. The height of the plant can vary from 2 feet to 6 feet depending on the variety. (Plants were developed to grow tall but then they realized that a shorter plant would produce cotton quicker.) The fruit of the plant is a bowl which begins to develope the cotton inside it. At the first frost (or when defloiate is applied), the plant dies and the bowl begins to dry up. This causes it to split open in 5 segments (like segments of an orange) and exposes the cotton for pickers to harvest. Inside the fluffy cotton are seeds that are used to grow the next crop.
