Land pollution is pollution of the Earth's natural land surface by industrial, commercial, domestic and agricultural activities.
They are same as they have same meanings-addition of undesirable matter to the land that damage the terrestrial organisms, reduce the uses of the land by man for agricultural, residential, recreational or other purposes or increase the risk of health hazards to man.

It occurs when the farmers spray their land with pesticides and fertilisers which then run off the land when its raining , into nearby water sources .
